Description
A neighbouring building on the offside is having its roof repaired which requires a section of scaffold be hung off the building at the level of its roof and top story, extending 1m over the canal. During the installation of the scaffold banksmen and signage will be in place to exclude boats from the are immediately beneath the scaffolders. Once the scaffold is in place, it will be equipped with the necessary measures to prevent anything falling into the canal beneath. Please could visitors with boats look out for the signage when in the area and respond to the requests of the banksmen in the interest of safety It may be necessary for boats to slow down and allow works above to be paused while they pass.
