Please be advised, there is a windblown tree near Bridge 84 on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
Contractors have been informed.
We ask all boaters to proceed with care when traveling in the area.
An update will be provided Friday 13 September.

We are pleased to advise the windblown tree has been removed and the canal is now open without restriction at Bridge 84 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
9/20/2024Please be advised, our local team and contractors are in the process of accessing non Trust land to remove the windblown tree at Bridge 84 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
Please could all boaters continue to take care when travelling through this location.

9/18/2024Please be advised, the windblown tree is still at Bridge 84 on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Please could all boaters take care when travelling through this location. The local operations team are sorting out remedial work. An update will be provided Wednesday 18 September.
