Description
Beal Lock on the River Aire is currently closed due to an issue with the downstream paddle gearing. This has become separated from the sluice door.
Operatives are waiting for water levels to drop sufficiently to allow access to the section of the lock and allow an inspection to take place. It is anticipated that this will take place on Friday 13th September. Therefore, this notice should be updated by no later than 16:00 on that day.
Updates
A repair has now been completed and the navigation is now open.
