Description
Please be aware that Castleford Sanitary Station is closed with immediate effect.
This is due to the requirement for a hygiene clean up on site.
This notice will be updated when the station reopens.
Updates
The elsan and customer service facilities at Castleford are now open for use.
Please be aware, a contractor will be in attendance, on site tomorrow, Tuesday 17th September, to replace the seal on the elsan so this will not be available during this period.
9/16/2024Following the cleaning of Castleford Sanitary Station, the facility continues to be unavailable, due to an ongoing problem.
Contractors are due to attend today to jet and carry out a drain inspection, using CCTV cameras.
This notice will be updated when the facility is reopened.
9/5/2024Castleford sanitary station remains closed due to a hygiene clean up after further issues.
A specialist contractor will be visiting the site on Monday morning and this notification will be updated following this.
Please do not try to access these facilities.
