Description
Please be advised the towpath and navigation is currently closed at Bridge 51, Stubbins Bridge, The Lancaster Canal due to a vehicle strike.
Our local team and contractors have been informed and are on their way to site.
An update will be provided tomorrow and further works specified, once the local team/engineers/contractors have been to site and assessed a plan for repair.

Please be advised the road closure remains in place at Bridge 51, Stubbins Bridge on the Lancaster Canal. Our project management team have received a quote from our contractors to carry out the repair and are currently reviewing the price.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
A further update will be posted Wednesday 6 November.
10/9/2024Please be advised navigation and towpath remain open at Bridge 51, Stubbins Bridge on the Lancaster Canal following remedial work carried out by our teams.
We ask all customers to proceed with caution when passing under the bridge until a full repair is completed.

9/12/2024We are pleased to advise that navigation and the towpath at Bridge 51, Stubbins Bridge on the Lancaster Canal are now back open following remedial work carried out by our teams. We ask all customers to proceed with caution when passing under the bridge until a full repair is completed.
