Description
Two boat parades, organised by Stourport Yacht Club RYA, are planned for Saturday 7 September on the River Severn.
The parade will use a section of the river through Stourport Town Centre between Stourport Yacht Club and Discovery Road.
Around 12 boats will be involved and the boat parades will take place between 3pm and 4pm, and 9pm and 10pm, (parades last around 30 minutes). Around 800 people are expected to attend the wider festival.
The Visitor moorings at the Trust pontoon in front of the Angel Inn will be reserved for the event. Please ensure the lock landing part of pontoon is left free for the use of the wide beam lock for the lower basin.
