Description
HS2 require a night closure for 25 nights on the Oxford Canal between bridges 127 and 128.
They are constructing a new railway viaduct over this section of the canal.
The canal will be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 every night between the 26 August 2024 and the 21 September 2024.
A towpath diversion will be in place for the duration of the works.
Updates
We have been advised that HS2 are ahead of schedule and no longer need this closure.
Therefore, the canal and towpath will no longer be closed to facilitate these works.
