Description
There is a sunken craft on the River Trent upstream of Trent bridge near to Victoria embankment.
The team is arranging to have buoys placed to mark where the obstruction is.
All boaters should approach with caution, as it cannot be seen.
We will update this notice by 6th August or as soon as we have further information.
Updates
Everything has now been cleared and boaters can proceed as normal.
8/6/2024We have removed the sunken craft on the River Trent, which was upstream of Trent bridge near to Victoria embankment.
However, on completing this, a further part of a sunken boat was located 60 yards up from Trent Bridge and about 40ft away from the Victoria embankment. We will be back on site on Monday morning to clear this our of the water.
Boaters are asked to proceed with caution and we will update this notice by 4pm on Monday 29th July or as soon as we have further details.
