Description
Please be advised third party contractors are carrying out repair works to Bridge 88E on the Grand Union Canal. To access the area of works, a pontoon will be installed in the canal and a mobile scaffold tower on the towpath. A tarpaulin sheet will also be installed on the towpath so none of the rubble, debris, mortar, etc. enters the canal.
The navigation and towpath will remain open. The pontoon and the scaffold tower will be moved out of the way to allow traffic. Signage and banksmen will also be present. Please take extra care whilst passing through this section of the canal.
