Description
Third party contractors are undertaking structural investigations comprising of visual inspections and concrete testing on the bridge deck soffit that carries the A38 above the canal and towpath. A MEWP will be used on the towpath and will span the canal when required to facilitate the investigations. Navigation and towpath will remain open, but signage and banksmen will be present to stop works and allow traffic to pass safely with as little delay as possible. Please take extra care whilst passing through this section of the canal.
