Description
Please be advised that one of the hydraulic rams that open the paddles at Sullhamstead Lock has failed and requires a replacement.
The team have been to site today, but found an active birds nest with eggs inside the casing, so further works were unable to be carried out.
Please note that the lock can take up to forty minutes to empty.
Please do not force the gates open until water pressure has equalized.
