Description
Please be advised the towpath between Scot Lane Bridge 49aa to Appley Bridge 42 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal, will be restricted to allow proposed towpath improvements works to be undertaken, from 24 June until 5 August 2024.
The towpath will remain open and public safety will be managed around the works. Signage will be erected to ensure the public is aware of the works ahead and barriers used if required.
Whilst the canal will be kept open to navigation, we politely request customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given onsite.
