Description
Please be advised we're having to restrict the towpath & navigation at Hawkesbury Lock.
A section of the towpath side wall at Hawksbury Lock upstream landing has subsided, and the foundations to the wall are failing over. Works are required to install trench sheet piling with brick copings along with reinstatement of the cobble stones and the towpath surface.
There may be a slight delay in navigation during works. The wait time is anticipated to be no longer than 30 minutes. Cyclists will need to dismount whilst passing and extra care should be taken whilst approaching. Works are due to start on Thursday 11th July and finish early September.
