Description
Please be advised the towpath between Bridge 26, Dryhurst Bridge and Bridge 27, Greens Hall Bridge on the Peak Forest Canal will be closed to be able to carry out necessary maintenance works.
These works will commence from Monday 17 June through until Friday 23 August.
A diversion route will be in place onsite.
Whilst the canal will be kept open to navigation, we politely request customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given onsite.
Updates
Unfortunately, due to the team having to attend emergency works elsewhere, the works to the towpath will now have to be extended until Friday 6th September.
