Description
There is a build up of siltation near Freemans Meadow Lock 41 between https://w3w.co/hello.until.grid and https://w3w.co/patch.pines.cabin
Our Environment Team is aware and are formalising plans to have our dredging team attend site.
Boaters can still proceed but are asked to proceed with care.
We will update this notice by the 10th May or as soon as we have further information.
Updates
We have now visited the site and taken some depth soundings.
The navigation remains open, but please proceed with care when heading towards the towpath side.
To help with resources, we are adding the required dredging work, to the already-planned in works at Limekiln Lock.
These works are due to start towards the end of September and we will update this notice by the 20th September or as soon as we have further information.
