The dredging work has been completed. Boating customers can now proceed as normal.

The dredging works near Freeman's Meadow Lock 41 on the Leicester Line are taking slightly longer than expected and we now aim to finish by the end of the day on Friday.

Please proceed with care and follow any advice from representatives on site.

We will update this notice by 5pm on Friday the 8th November or sooner if we have more information.

The planned dredging works Near Freeman's Meadow Lock 41 on the Leicester Line will commence on the 4th November and take approximately three days.

Boaters are advised to proceed with care and follow any advice from representatives on site.

We have now visited the site and taken some depth soundings.

The navigation remains open, but please proceed with care when heading towards the towpath side.

To help with resources, we are adding the required dredging work, to the already-planned in works at Limekiln Lock.

These works are due to start towards the end of September and we will update this notice by the 20th September or as soon as we have further information.
