Description
Contractors working for the Council will be carrying out works to improve access to and from the towpath at Llangollen Wharf. The works will include replacement of the existing steps with a new steel staircase and improvements to the access ramp.
The canal and towpath will remain open but the steps and ramped path will be closed periodically during the works. Warning signs and barriers will be used. Please approach with caution and follow any advice given by the contractors
Works will take place from 07/05/24 to 28/06/24

8/30/2024Due to issues with the piles at The Wharf, a sub frame has now been designed and is in production. The effect of this change is reflected in the programme, but completion will now be 27 August 2024.
