Description
Please be advised there is a windblown tree at Bridge 88 on the Lancaster Canal blocking navigation.
Navigation will remain open, however, wide beams will not be able to pass until the tree has been removed
We politely request all narrowboat customers to navigate through the affected area with care.
An update will be provided Monday 12 February

We are pleased to advise the tree has been removed and the canal is now open without restriction at Bridge 88, Ellel Hall Bridge on the Lancaster Canal.
2/21/2024Please be advised navigation remains restricted at Bridge 88, Ellel Hall Bridge on the Lancaster Canal due to a windblown tree.
Due to unforeseen circumstances our contractors have continued to be delayed to site, we anticipate our contractors to be attending this week.
