Description

Please be advised from Monday 29 January our contractors will be undertaking improvement works to the traffic light system at Foulridge Tunnel, and as a result the traffic light system at the tunnel portals will not be working. Whilst navigation will remain open, customers may be asked to wait 60 minutes to allow the third-party contractors make way for a safe passage.

We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site. Any boats wishing to navigate the tunnel must follow the timings on the notice boards at the tunnel portals. An update will be provided following the installation of the new lighting system and completion of the works.
