Description
Please be advised we've had to close this section due to an excessive build-up of silt. Passage should not be attempted until further notice. The dredging team have been made aware and will prioritise works accordingly.
A further update will be provided on or before Wednesday 7th February.
Updates
We're pleased to advise contractors have made great progress and navigation will be open again from tomorrow (21/03/24)
Please be advised that dredging plant may still be working in the area, from Lock 6 to M5 crossing, up to Monday 25/03/24. Please take care if passing.
3/20/2024Contractors are getting ready to mobilise over the next week with the aim is to have navigation open in time for Easter.

3/6/2024Navigation remains closed here. We're still aiming to have navigation open for Easter. An update will be provided on or before Wednesday 6th March.
2/29/2024A site meeting was held between the Trust and contractors, mapping the areas that require the spot dredging. We don't currently have a date for when works will commence, but we're aiming to have navigation open for Easter.
The next update will be provided on or before Wednesday 28th February.
