Description
The disabled toilet at Meadow Lane customer service facilities on the Nottingham and Beeston Canal is closed.
This is due to vandalism.
The repair and clean of this facility will be planned in for the new year.
We will update this notice by 31st January or when we have more information.
Updates
Meadow Lane Facility is open again and boaters can now access the site as normal.
4/4/2024The shower and toilet block at Meadow Lane is to remain closed.
Water and elsan disposal remain available.
Alternative solutions to improve security and maintain availability of the toilet and showers here are being considered.
We will update this notice on 2nd April or sooner if we have further information.
2/29/2024The shower and toilet block at Meadow Lane customer service facility on the Nottingham and Beeston Canal has been cleaned and repaired.
However it will remain closed until Friday 1st March 2024, to prevent further vandalism due to anti-social behaviour.
Water and elsan disposal remain available.
Alternative solutions to improve security and maintain availability of the toilet and showers here are being considered.
