Description
Please be advised the towpath is closed between Willeymoor lock and Poveys lock on Llangollen Canal to allow our engineers to undertake investigations to identify the cause of the continual flooded towpath.
Our engineers are currently liaising third-party landowners to facilitate this investigation.
An update will be provided in the new year by the end of January or as soon as further information is available.
Updates
After our engineers undertaking investigations of the towpath between Willeymoor lock and Poveys lock on the Llangollen Canal to identify the cause of the continual flood on the towpath, works are now planned to begin Monday 23 September to Friday 5 October between the hours of 9am to 3pm to repair the section of the towpath.
We thank you for your patience and understanding while the works take place.
9/20/2024Our engineers have undertaken investigations of the towpath between Willeymoor lock and Poveys lock on Llangollen Canal to identify the cause of the continual flood on the towpath.
Works are now planned to begin in September to repair the section of the towpath.
