Description

Third Party Contractors, Danaher & Walsh on behalf of Keepmoat Homes Ltd, need to construct a new 25m long retaining wall along the towpath verge.

This will be for the Southern towpath approach to Soar Lane Bridge 3, Leicester City.

These works have started today and will be taking place until the 2nd February 2024.

A temporary fence is in place to allow for the excavation and works, which will reduce the width of the towpath.

Towpath users should be aware of the increased work activity and approach with caution whilst passing the site.

The previous update was made in error.

The works at this location, on the Southern towpath approach to Soar Lane Bridge 3, Leicester City have been completed.

3/1/2024

Due to adverse weather the works being carried out by Third Party Contractors, Danaher & Walsh on behalf of Keepmoat Homes Ltd, have been delayed further.

Contractors need to construct a new 25m long retaining wall along the towpath verge.

This will be for the Southern towpath approach to Soar Lane Bridge 3, Leicester City.

The new completion date is 31st March.

A temporary fence is in place to allow for the excavation and works, which will reduce the width of the towpath.

Towpath users should be aware of the increased work activity and approach with caution whilst passing the site.
