Description
Contractors working for the Council will be rebuilding the damaged bridge parapets at bridge 8 via a temporary fixed scaffold. The canal and towpath will remain open and headroom clearances will be retained but please approach with caution and be prepared to stop if requested.
Updates
Reconstruction of the bridge parapets is almost complete but installation of the new coping stones has been delayed. Completion is now expected on Monday 25th March. The scaffolding is still in place and the canal and towpath remain open but please approach with caution and be prepared to stop if requested.
