Description
The River Soar has gone into flood and the red flood lights have now been activated. Boaters are advised not to travel along this section until further notice.
Updates
Water levels have returned to normal and the navigation is now open.
11/21/2023CAUTION STRONG STREAMS
We advise users of all boats not to navigate the Grand Union Canal from Kings Lock, through to the River Soar at Redhill Lock because the strong flows make it difficult and dangerous (Locks may be closed).
