The pump out at Castleford is closed pending a visit from contractors.

Updates

Contractors have attended site and the pump out is now working.

11/28/2023

We have been informed that contractors will now be attending Tuesday 28th.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused. We will update this notice as soon as we have confirmation that contractors have attended site.

11/27/2023

The missing part has now been sourced and contractors have been trying their best to have this collected today. However, this has not been possible and it will now be Monday when we are able to obtain the part.

As soon as they have it, they will return to site and install the missing part to have it up and running as quickly as possible.

We will update the notice when this has been done.

We apologise for the further delay to the repair of the pumpout.

Contractors have attended and the sub pump has now been installed; but unfortunately the D80 needs another part to get this up and running. The original issue was resolved but in resolving this another issue was found.

We are working on this and will get this up and running as quickly as we can.

We have a joint site visit booked by both contractors, one that is needed to empty the chamber and those to install the replacement part needed to repair the pump.

The installation will take place on Thursday 23rd November at 8am.

We hope to have the facilities up and running after the emptying of the chamber and the installation of the part.

We will update the notice once we have confirmation that it was successful.

The replacement part has now been dispatched by the supplier,

Once it has arrived at the depot we will update this notice with a installation date.

Following yesterday's joint site visit by contractors, we are waiting on a replacement part to repair the pump.

The replacement is being sourced and will be update the notice when further information is available.

We are currently discussing a joint visit with our two contractors as a part of the pumpout was found to be damaged and the new part is currently being sourced.

The pumpout chamber needs to be emptied for this work/repair to be carried out.

We are currently awaiting for confirmation of a site visit on Monday by both contractors.

We will update the notice when further information is available.
