Our team are on the way to assess the situation. We will provide a further update as soon as we receive one.
Updates
There has been no further update regarding the towpath closure at this time, as we are still in discussions with the land agent.
We will provide any new information as soon as it becomes available.
Thank you for your patience.

10/18/2024Last week, the local Operations team reviewed the draft proposal from the land agent on-site. By the end of this week, a contractor will be on-site to provide an accurate quote for the necessary preliminary work that must be completed before any redirection can be implemented.
We are making progress toward finalizing a formal agreement with the landowner, but for now, the towpath will remain closed.
If you notice any barriers down, please get in touch on 0303 040 4040.
We'll provide a further update on or before Friday 18th October.
