Description
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 123L, Tower Wharf and Lock 1, Northgate Bottom Lock on the Shropshire Union Canal to install temporary fencing in preparation for emergency works to secure the stonework of railway Bridge 123J.
Due to the width reduction on the towpath, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow any equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
A further update will be provided before Friday 27 October.
