Description
Please be advised that a winter floating market (with land-based stalls) has been organised by The K&A Floating Fayre from Friday 24th November until Monday 27th November 2023.
The event will take place in Bradford-On-Avon and will use the section of canal/towpath above and below Lock 14.
There will be reduced mooring below the Bradford on Avon flight during the floating market.
Moorings will be reserved in this area for approved floating market traders only.
It is therefore recommended that customers plan their journey in advance.
Alternatives include:
·Mooring at Avoncliff, where there is a limited train service to Bradford on Avon, or a pleasant walk along the canal to Barton Park and Bradford on Avon.
·Mooring further afield above the Bradford on Avon flight.
Where safe to do so and without obstructing the navigation, boats can moor double, please ask the boater you want to moor alongside for their permission.
