Description
There has been an incident on the Aire and Calder near Great Heck where a small helicopter has crashed into the navigation.
Fortunately, no one is hurt and no known damage has occurred. The fire service have measured the depth of the helicopter at approximately 3-4m deep in between the narrows where the old swing bridge was.
Can all craft please proceed with caution at this location.
If you know that the draft of your boat is over 3m deep, please do not navigate past this location until further notice.
