Description
A stoppage is required to prepare this location for a new road bridge that will be planned in for next winter 2024/2025.
Contractors will be replacing the poor conditioned canal walls with new piled walls to support the new bridge foundations on the towpath side and offside.
Due to the narrowing of the bridge hole fabric dams will be required to facilitate the works which will close the canal.
