Description

Please be advised our engineers have carried out an inspection to Bridge 77A, Froom Street Bridge on the Leeds and Liverpool canal, during the inspection our engineers noted that some parts of the concrete have started to de-laminate. We are working with the third-party owners to carry out further investigation and assisting them planning a repair.

The bridge will remain open, and we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution.

A further update will be provided when the bridge repairs have been carried out.

The third-party works are ongoing at Bridge 77A, Froom Street Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool canal, whilst navigation and bridge access remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution, and pass with care under the netting in place.

A further update will be provided once we have received further information from the third party.

The third-party inspections of Bridge 77A, Froom Street Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool canal are now complete, and we await the results from the third party to determine what works are required.

Whilst navigation and bridge access remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution.

A further update will be provided once we have received further information from the third party.

Please be advised third party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 77A, Froom Street Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool canal from the 14 October till, and inclusive of 20 October to carry out the necessary inspections to determine the required works to repair the bridge.

The inspections will be carried out via pontoon and roped access. Whilst canal navigation and access over the bridge will remain open, customers may be asked to wait for a short period of time whilst equipment is moved out the way to allow for safe passage.

We politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice given by the third-party contractors onsite and adhere to the signage installed onsite.
