Description
A stoppage is required to allow HS2 to construct a new viaduct over the canal.
Works will stop from the 22/12/2023 through to the 01/01/2024 to allow navigation over Christmas.
Updates
we are pleased to inform our customers that the planned stoppage has been completed a week early and the canal is now open
2/23/2024We are pleased to advise that HS2 are now able to undertake these works without closing the towpath, therefore it will now be open for the duration of the project.
