Due to the extended period of the river being in flood which has delayed this stoppage, and following feedback from boaters, we have made the decision to push the lock repairs back to the early Autumn. Boaters are advised that this is a difficult lock to operate at the moment, we are working on a solution to this, and will update when we have further information.

The recent floods caused by Storm Gerrit and Storm Henk have resulted in delays mobilising some of the equipment to site. We explored alternative solutions but, despite our best efforts, we must delay the planned start date for the work, which will now take place from 12 February 2024 through to 22 March 2024. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause our boating customers.

The works at this location are still being delayed due to the continued impact of the New Year storms. This means we will need to delay the start date of these works.

We are hopeful to start work on site on the 22 January 2024 with a completion date of the 15 March 2024.
