Description
A stoppage is required to carry out replacement of the top and bottom gates. We will also be carrying out some repairs to the steps and brickwork.
Updates
We would like to inform our customers of an extension at the stoppage at Cape Bottom Lock on the Grand Union. The navigation was due to be reopened on the 23 February 2024, however, the team are struggling to lower water levels in the lock to a safe level for scaffolders to safely enter and demobilise the cranes. We therefore need to extend the stoppage to the afternoon of 26 February 2024. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
