Description
A stoppage is required to carry out some repairs of gate planking to resolve leakage. We will also be carrying out some brickworks at Bridge 53a.
Updates
We would like to inform out customers of an extension at the stoppage at Stoke Bruerne Lock Flight (Lock 18) by one week. Unfortunately the site was hit with poor weather conditions, as well as having equipment and fuel stolen, which delayed works. There is also a change in scope, with extra works needing to be carried out on the ground paddles at lock 18, and Trust fisheries would like to carry out Zander removal between locks 15 & 16. The canal will be closed from 08 January 2024 through to 08 March 2024. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
