Description
Please be advised, third-party contractors are onsite at Lock 89, Tib Lock, Manchester on the Rochdale Canal to carry out the demolition and reconstruction of the adjacent building.
These works are forecasted to take 2 years, commencing Monday 18 April 2022, ending Friday 19 April 2024. Scaffolding will be installed onsite after week commencing Monday 16 May 2022.
Navigation and towpath access will remain open, however the offside towpath will be narrowed to a minimum width of 1.5m to accommodate the hoarding a scaffolding required, whilst maintaining accessibility.
Please note, the mooring point located offside below Tib Lock will be out of use, and signage advising customers to use the towpath side mooring will be in place.
