Description
Please be advised, for the safety of our customers, navigation is closed between Lock 3 West and Lock 4 West on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to a collapsed washwall.
Our teams are establishing a way to be able to safely resume navigation and a further update will be provided tomorrow, Wednesday 11 August.
Updates
Please be advised our teams are currently on-site undertaking repairs to the collapsed washwall at Bridge 103, Mottram Road Bridge on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
The programme of work will be completed by Monday 12 February.
Please navigate the area with care and keep to the offside of navigation throughout the duration of these works.
1/26/2024We are pleased to advise navigation has resumed between Lock 3 West and Lock 4 West on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.
Barriers have been placed around the collapsed washwall at Bridge 103, Mottram Road Bridge. Please navigate the area with care and keep to the offside of navigation.
Our teams are looking into ways of safely repairing the washwall.
