Description
In the interest of public safety, due to the current condition of the bank at Outside Track, Top Lock, Appley Bridge on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, we advise customers to avoid mooring and using the bank for pedestrian access.
The affected area will be fenced off and signage will be installed onsite. Access to the operable lock will be maintained.
Our engineers are working with our local team to plan a method of repair. We anticipate works to reinstate the bank will be completed by early Spring 2020.
