Selby Lock Operating Times:
Operating before HW: 2.5hrs
Operating after HW: 5hrs
Booking: 24hr advanced booking required in winter period. Advisory 24hr booking in summer. Please contact lock keeper on 01757 703182.
Summer operating times: 06:00 to 22:00 - Last week in Feb to Mid Oct.
Winter operating times: 06:00 to 22:00 (1st daylight tide only) -Mid Oct to Last Week in Feb.

All locks are mechanically operated and manned during the operating times detailed above. All lock operations are managed by Canal & River Trust lock keepers, self-penning is not possible at the above lock.
Canal & River Trust are not an emergency service but will assist any user in need of help where possible. Any vessel requiring emergency assistance should call the emergency services on 999 and ask for the coastguard. Canal & River Trust provide a 24hr call system to deal with emergency operational issues. First Response can be contacted on 0800 4799947
