The Roving Canal Traders Association Chester Floating Market will be taking place from Saturday 29th to Monday 31st August 2026 on the Shropshire Canal. The event will be running from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day.

This will take place from Bridge 123E, Cow Lane to Bridge 123C, Seller Street.

The towpath and navigation will remain open, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.

The visitor moorings between these bridges will be suspended for the event from Thursday 27th August 2026 at 9:00am until Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 10:00am. The moorings will be signposted.

This event is subject to water resources available closer the event date.
