Water levels on the Ashby Canal are currently lower than normal following a prolonged period of dry, hot weather.

We are taking measures to help restore water levels and minimise the impact on navigation.

In the meantime, we ask you to take extra care when navigating and to assess conditions carefully before setting off.

Please avoid unnecessary journeys and, if you have any concerns about navigating safely, please remain on your mooring until conditions improve.
