A tree has been identified as unsafe and requires removal by our specialist contractors on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal south of Bridge 93 (Acton Road Bridge).

During the works, temporary restrictions to both navigation and towpath access may be necessary to ensure the safe completion of the operation.

Boaters may experience short delays while the works are in progress and are asked to follow any instructions provided by the site team.

The towpath between Bridge 93 and the work site will be subject to temporary restrictions while the works are undertaken. Access will be managed on site by the contractors, and members of the public may be asked to wait while tree removal activities are taking place.
