Navigation between Lock 1 and Lock 4 on the Hurleston Flight of the Llangollen Canal will be closed from 3:00pm today. Further closures will be in place from Saturday, 11 July until 9:30am on Sunday, 12 July, with an additional closure commencing at 3:00pm.

These temporary closures are necessary due to low water levels. During the closure periods, the local team will be working to replenish water resources and maintain safe navigation conditions throughout the flight.

Customers planning to travel through the flight before the closures are asked to operate the locks with care and help conserve water wherever possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience, cooperation and understanding while these necessary measures are carried out.
