Navigation is currently closed between Lock 7West and Lock 21West on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal due to low water levels resulting from the recent dry weather conditions.
We will continue to monitor the situation throughout today and ask boaters to remain at these locks while water levels are assessed.
As soon as water levels have recovered sufficiently to allow safe navigation, the restrictions will be lifted.
