Third-party contractors will be on site between Lock 65 and Oldham Road Bridge (A62) on the Rochdale Canal to allow necessary repair works to a boundary wall that is leaning over the towpath and has been identified as unsafe therefore, the towpath is closed. 

As a result, the towpath will be closed for the duration of the works. To maintain a safe working environment, a signed diversion route will be in place throughout the closure.
