Please be advised that an underwater obstruction, believed to be a shopping trolley, has been reported near Bridge 202A (Britannia Footbridge) on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. The obstruction is estimated to be approximately one foot below the water surface and may present a hazard to navigation. Boaters are advised to proceed with extreme caution when navigating through this area and to reduce speed where it is safe to do so. Our team has been made aware of the obstruction and will arrange for it to be investigated and removed as soon as practicable. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
