Braunston Lock 1 is currently operating with only one ground paddle. While the lock remains operational, this is increasing the time taken to fill the lock by approximately eight to nine minutes. 

Opening the upper gates is also challenging due to leakage from the lower gates, and it may require two people to operate them. 

Due to the extreme weather and the planned Historic Boat Rally this weekend, we will schedule the necessary repairs for next week.
