Contractors  have attended site today, and due to the size of the bridge, have requested an additional day to complete a full inspection.

These works will now take place over two days, Tuesday 14 July and Wednesday 15 July.

Due to third party contractors availability, these works will now be taking place on Tuesday 14 July 8:30am until 5pm.

Third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 52B, Railway Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to carry out a routine inspection.

These works will be taking place on Monday,13 July 8:30am until 5pm.

To be able to inspect the bridge, a pontoon and scaffolding tower will be in place, and we request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage.

We anticipate a wait of no longer than 20 minutes.
