Please be advised that a fallen tree is partially obstructing the navigation on the Shropshire Union Canal between Bridge 10 (Avenue Bridge) and Bridge 11 (Gifford Cross Bridge)
Contractors have been notified and are expected to attend within the next couple of days to remove the obstruction.
In the meantime, the navigation remains open; however, boaters are advised to proceed with caution when passing the affected area and to take extra care.
