We have been advised by the Contractor that these works have been delayed and will now commence on Monday, 29th June at 8am, with an expected completion date of Monday 3rd August at 5pm.

Contractors, working on behalf of Newark and Sherwood District Council, will be working along a section of footpath at the side of the River Trent at Cuckstool Wharf, Newark (near the Castle) https://w3w.co/albums.field.absorbs

The works will run from 15th June until the 31st July between 8:00am until 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) and will require the temporary closure of sections of the towpath to allow for installation of new lighting columns and replacing the existing illuminated bollards.  Where closures occur a signed diversion route will be in place.
